* Leaving the motel, Bluebird gets a good look at the city of Lighthouse in the distance properly. It is small, but surprisingly modern. The lighthouse in which the city is named after sits on the highest point of the city.
* Bluebird notes how strange it is: they're in the middle of the mountains and the ocean hundreds of miles away.
* Deciding not to venture into the city, Bluebird goes about getting supplies and packing his bags. He goes to a small store and buys food and daily necessities. Taking a risk, he tries paying with one of the many cards he found in Alistair's pockets - and surprisingly, it works.
* On the way back to the motel, Bluebird notices someone watching him. They're short, but built strong and stocky. They're watching Bluebird like a predator.
* Disturbed, Bluebird starts walking faster, but as soon as he turns a corner, he's dragged into an alley and slammed into a wall.

Synopsis

Outline

  • Cold open. Bluebird shedding his latest skin and leaving his "family." Introduce Bluebird's life cycle and his emotional struggles with it.
  • Weeks later after hopping from sta5e to state, Bluebird stumbles upon a beautiful corpse (Alistair), who has obviously been murdered and gruesomely at that.
  • His corpse had a slashed throat and a missing eye.
  • Despite his strong interest in staying "under the radar", Bluebird takes the skin.
  • Unaware of Alistair's identity and his infamy, Bluebird finds himself at Kitty's Palace where he is informed that he already has a room.
